SDSU Extension - Minnehaha County 4-H
http://4h.minnehahacounty.org/dept/4h/4h.php
The mission of 4-H Program Office is to enable youth, ages 5 to 18, in Minnehaha County to be engaged in the following: leadership skill development, healthy relationships, STEM exploration, and agricultural literacy. Youth “learn by doing” through a variety of volunteer lead programs. We are currently in need of volunteers to help deliver 4-H programs and lessons to youth in the Sioux Falls area. Volunteers if selected will receive basic training in youth development and lesson facilitation. Volunteers may serve anywhere between 2 to 10 hours a month based on interest and availability. There is no monetary compensation available for volunteers. Program is flexible to help volunteers meet any needs or requirements for content area experience that they require. Please contact Minnehaha County 4-H Youth Program Advisor Nathan Skadsen (nathan.skadsen@sdstate.edu) or visit our Helpline Center page (https://volunteer.helplinecenter.org/organization/0011M000027oK3XQAU) for more information.
The Minnehaha County 4-H program is facilitated by South Dakota State University Extension.
