Male Mentors

St Francis House is looking for male mentors for our male guests. Mentors are not expected to, or required to teach or train our guest in any specific skill or behavior. Mentors are to provide fellowship and role modeling appropriate behaviors. Mentors will work with Volunteer Coordinator and develop action plans for fellowship. Times of the day depend on activity and could vary. Interacting/activities with guest at St. Francis House including but not limited to: eating meals, taking a walk, throwing a football/frisbee, bible study, doing an art project, playing a game etc. After a period of time Mentors may take guests to outside of St. Francis House activities including but not limited to: attending church, eating at a local restaurant, attending a sporting event, going disc golfing, fishing, seeing a movie. This is a chance for our guests, many of whom have not had appropriate role models to experience fellowship with a responsible, caring adult. For the mentor it will provide an opportunity to make a huge difference in someone’s life while having fun doing it.
