Horse Chore Person - Cleaning Stalls & Pens
DoubleHP (Horse Help Providers, Inc.) | http://www.newhopehorses.org In 2012 we received Sanctuary Status from the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries. With this verification comes more volunteer opportunities and the development of new programs. We have 19 sanctuary horses living here; 14 of them were rescued from starvation or slaughter. Caring for these kind souls is truly a privilege, and we do have volunteer opportunities available here to help clean their stalls and pens and water the riding arena to keep the dust down, etc. Our equine facility is New Hope Horse Shelter and is located about 3 miles north of Crooks South Dakota (or about 12-15 miles NW of Sioux Falls.)Some of our Volunteers advance to more direct horse care activities such as feeding, grooming, possibly riding.
