Help Feeding South Dakota Fill BackPacks for Kids & Families!
Help children and families in the Sioux Falls area receive the food they need by helping pack BackPacks for Feeding South Dakota's BackPack program!
Packing starts at 4 pm Tuesday evenings at the facility at 4701 N Westport Ave. Shifts are one hour each at 4 pm and 6 pm with a break between shifts at 5 pm to restock and clean up the line and work area. Work involves opening food product, placing items in sacks on an assembly line and stacking full totes on pallets for delivery.
To register and book your volunteer group, visit https://feedingsouthdakota.volunteermatrix.com/-sf. Slots for groups of 20-25 are still available on Nov. 26, Dec. 10 and Dec. 17. To book a group, please select "I am scheduling my group" at the top of the page.
Ten volunteer slots each shift are reserved for individual volunteers. To register and book a slot as an individual, visit https://feedingsouthdakota.volunteermatrix.com/-sf.
Closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothes required. Park in the south end of the Feeding South Dakota lot and arrive 10 minutes early to complete waivers.
