Rapid City Mobile Distribution
Are you looking to make a difference in your community? Feeding South Dakota's Rapid City branch is seeking volunteers for the distribution of emergency food boxes to families and children in need of assistance. As a volunteer, you will have the opportunity to be a vital part of a team that helps to feed those who are struggling.
You will be given instructions, training, and staff support throughout your shift, as well as additional safety gear if you are working around traffic. To qualify for this position, you must be able to stand and walk for 2-3 hours, lift about 10 to 30 pounds, and work outdoors in warm weather. Volunteers must be at least 11 years old, and if you are under 14, you must be accompanied by an adult.
