Literacy Council of the Black Hills provides free, confidential, one-on-one tutoring to adults and teens in basic reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills, as well as English language learning. We conduct tutor-training workshops to prepare volunteers for instructing and mentoring adults who need literacy assistance. Our council seeks to collaborate with all organizations involved in promoting literacy and assisting learners.
