Our mission is to maintain and improve the health and well-being of veterans in this network. The medical center is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to patients in a clinically appropriate and emotionally supportive environment. The Sioux Falls VA Health Care System is a 45 bed medical center and 59 bed Community Living Center, providing primary, acute and long-term services. The VA Regional Office is located on the grounds. The VA is one of two VA Medical Centers in the State of South Dakota. The medical center plays a major role in state and local medical activities and has sharing agreements with other medical facilities in the area. We also maintain close relationships with the major veterans service organizations in our three-state operating area.
