Since it's inception in 1989, The HopeLine has grown into a highly technological, and strategically operated call center that supplements the Dawson McAllister Live nationally syndicated radio show (Aired on Hot 104.7 in Sioux Falls). The Sioux Falls HopeLine is staffed by adult volunteers whom we call Hope Coaches, and is one of six HopeLines nationwide. Our Hope Coaches have handled hundreds of thousands of calls from desperate and hurting teenagers and young adults whose issues and concerns can be complex and deep. Every Hope Coach is thoroughly equipped because each Hope Coach is required to participate in a 3 hour training.
