The Sioux Empire Community Theatre performs live theatre at the Downtown Sioux Falls Orpheum Theater. 

Our mission: To provide quality community theatre. To provide hands-on learning experiences in all aspects of theatre performance and production. To bring an enjoyable theatrical experience to the greater Sioux Empire community. Sioux Empire Community Theatre (SECT) is a volunteer-based organization with two main purposes: to provide an opportunity for volunteers to participate in all aspects of community theatre, and to provide affordable professional-quality live theatre for the greater Sioux Empire. We utilize the finest local talent both onstage and offstage to provide the best shows possible. At the same time, we adhere to a strict policy of fiscal responsibility.
