http://www.charactercountsse.orgThe mission of Character on Track, formerly Sioux Empire Character Counts is to build a community of character by partnering with local organizations, parents and youth to teach character building traits of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship. CC! is part of a national program that promotes the importance of ethical behavior in daily life, whether it be school, work or community. Locally, board members and volunteers work with schools, businesses and individuals to teach values that are endorsed by ethical people of all religious and cultural backgrounds. Our programs have been incorporated into local schools across the country as a way to teach character. We also present programs on Ethics in the Workplace that help good companies become better by encouraging ethical behavior and business practices on the part of both employees and management.
