The mission of the Evangelical Good Samaritan Society is to share God's love in word and deed by providing shelter and supportive services to older persons and others in need, believing that "In Christ's Love, Everyone Is Someone." Compassion and desire to serve others with excellence is the basis for the mission of the Good Samaritan Society. Our organization's name is taken from the Biblical story of the Good Samaritan found in the 10th Chapter of Luke. In this story, Jesus emphasized faith in action, ending with the commandment to "go and do the same". Believing that: "In Christ's Love, Everyone is Someone." Caring for the whole person requires more than the latest innovations in short-term, long-term and rehabilitative care. Our dedicated volunteers help make this possible.
