Mission: Create opportunity for children ages zero to five years old to enhance their learning development through play
Job title: Grant writing specialist
Job overview: Working with the Toy Lending Library Advisory Board to decide what grants apply and to help write the grants.
Tasks:
- Research, together with the Toy Lending Library Advisory Board, about grants available to fund specific projects for the Toy Lending Library,
- Write the grant.
Volunteer criteria:
- Be able to commit to 2 hour/month,
- Understand the importance of confidentiality.
Location of Volunteer work: 401 S Spring Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57104
Benefits: Volunteers will make a difference in their community by helping the Toy Lending Library increase its presence in the community and by helping families have access to toys, books and information that can help children’s learning development.
Training provided: Approximately 1/2 hour of training will be provided to Toy Lending Library volunteers.
