Art for Arthritis Gala Planning Committee
The Arthritis Foundation is the Champion of Yes. Leading the fight for the arthritis community, the Arthritis Foundation helps conquer everyday battles through life-changing information and resources, access to optimal care, advancements in science and community connections. Our goal is to chart a winning course, guiding families in developing personalized plans for living a full life – and making each day another stride towards a cure.
The Arthritis Foundation is looking for volunteers to assist with planning the Art for Arthritis Gala – Dinner and Auction. The Gala is designed to bring awareness and to support the Foundation in achieving the Foundation Mission of finding a cure for arthritis. The Gala is also designed to highlight the needs of children and families that struggle daily with the impact of juvenile arthritis(JA). For many this is an unrecognized and invisible, but debilitating diseases that impacts hundreds of children in the Sioux Empire and South Dakota.

Doors Open at 5:00 pm
Program begins at 6:00pm
Wrap up at 9:30 pm
Committee members are needed to assist with planning event details, securing silent auction items, organizing revenue generating activities for the day of the event, and assisting with day of activities. Creativity and new ideas are wanted!
Additional activities include:
1. Planning Youth/Mentor Artist Meet -n- Greet.
2. Promoting event activities through social media.
Looking for 3 – 4 new committee members. Committee meetings are Wednesdays, 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm.
