Husbandry Volunteering
Husbandry Volunteers assist Aquarists and Biologists with animal care, food preparation, general habitat maintenance, and other tasks determined by department. Please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, directly, if you are interested in being a husbandry volunteer.
*Applicants must be 18 years old to participate as a Husbandry Volunteer. Applicants go through an application, interview, background check, and orientation process to determine best fit and skills. Animal husbandry volunteering is designed for people who have (or had) a career in animal care, those who are currently studying in a related field, or those who are able to be flexible with a dedicated schedule and learn detailed information about animal care and exhibit maintenance.
