Seeking Board Member Candidates

Project Food Forest is seeking one or more dedicated and passionate individuals to help steer the organization as we fulfill our mission of empowering people to feed themselves through agroforestry, edible landscape design, and education.

If you want to build real examples of sustainable agriculture, increase wildlife habitat in the city, help all people feed themselves, and work to relieve burdens on our taxes, our land, and our farmers; then we strongly urge you to consider joining our board.

Obligations include attending regular meetings and showing dedication though donation and volunteering for tasks other than routine work associated with the director’s position. Board member term length is two years.

Qualifications

Board member or leadership experience with a non-profit organization and/or a degree in business or nonprofit management is required.

Skills

Valued skills and knowledge include entrepreneurship, fundraising, permaculture, community connections, and nonprofit law.
