An Exhibits Assistant aids museum staff in the production and installation of quality exhibits. Duties may include crafting skills, scrapbooking, painting, sanding and finishing, using power tools including drill press, table saw, band saw, and planers, and work with various materials including Plexiglas, Formica, wood, and metals. You will gain an understanding of the exhibit creation process and see that there's a lot more that goes on behind the scenes at the museum than you may realize!
Volunteer must be at least 18 years of age. Hours are primarily weekdays.
