We are looking for someone who is interested in serving in a back-up capacity for delivering Senior Commodities boxes. The Senior Commodities program supplies adults 60 and older and living on a limited income with a monthly pre-packaged box of non-perishable food items each month that is designed to supplement nutrients that are typically lacking in their diets. The volunteer interested in this position will need to be able to lift 30 pounds, take/pass a background check, and drive with a current license. This position will serve more as a back-up capacity in case a current driver will be unavailable during the typical delivery time (1pm-3pm, on the 4th Tuesday of the month).
