Volunteer to mentor student officers, facilitate interactive discussions, and share leadership experience connected to one of eight officer positions. Jobs for America’s Graduates-South Dakota is looking for volunteer session leaders for the 2026 Emerging Leaders Summit on October 7-8.
You’ll mentor a small group of student leaders, share your experience, and help students connect leadership with community impact.
Session leaders will be asked to:
Participate during the summit on October 7 (PM) and October 8 (AM)
Facilitate three interactive discussion sessions
Share relevant leadership experiences, examples, and perspectives
Help students connect their officer responsibilities with leadership, civic engagement, career readiness, and community impact
Review the session materials provided before the event
Optionally join students as a table host during the Etiquette Dinner
Session materials, guidance, and resources will be provided in advance. No formal teaching or facilitation experience is required.
