We are looking for high school and college aged volunteers for a summer Strider and Adaptive Bike class series.
We teach approximately 30 athletes between the ages of 2-7 with a disability how to ride a bike over the course of six weeks starting July 7 at the Special Olympics gym. Classes go from 6- 7pm with thirty minutes of set up and break down on either side.
This class is hosted in conjunction with Special Olympics South Dakota, B&K Adaptive Equipment, and Tiny Tots PT with support from University of South Dakota Doctor Physical Therapy Program. It's our second year hosting the class and we think it might make a great opportunity for students to join!
We are especially in need of volunteers July 7th and July 14th. Please check our signup genius for spots: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10C044BA5A62CABF85-64095515-2026#/ or email me directly at Nadene@FunandFriends.org.
