We are in need of 4 volunteers to help us run some traffic & vehicle-themed stations at our June Fun for All Open Gym event, such as a craft, sensory table, and guided activities game. This event takes place in the Special Olympics gym and is on Saturday, June 13th. Volunteers would be needed from 9-noon which includes set up and take down. Teens are welcome to volunteer at this event!
What is Fun for All Open Gym? It is our monthly meet up for families who have a child between the ages of 0-12, with a disability or rare disease in the Sioux Falls area. We meet to socialize, play, and build a community in the Sioux Falls area. This month, we will be joined in the gym by special guests, Special Olympics South Dakota, who will have information and a sign up for their upcoming Young Athletes Strider Bike session that they host in partnership with us! We will have bikes and trikes available for kids to try.
