Entertainment Support Team

Help guests enjoy live entertainment and festival activities during the Real America Birthday Bash in downtown Rapid City! Volunteers will assist with guest seating and standing areas, help direct pedestrian flow near performances, and support a safe and welcoming environment at Main Street Square and Memorial Park. They may assist guests with directions, help maintain organized entertainment areas, and provide general event support as needed.

This role is ideal for friendly, dependable volunteers who enjoy working with people and being part of a fun, high-energy community event.

Volunteers should report to the Main Street Square Board Room 30 minutes prior to their scheduled shift to receive instructions and assignment locations.

Volunteer Duties:

Helping guests find seating

• Assisting with crowd flow near performances

• Welcoming and directing attendees

• Supporting performers and event staff as needed

• Helping keep entertainment areas organized and safe
