Who: Outgoing Pavilion volunteers 16 and older who enjoy engaging with guests, especially kiddos
What: Leading interactive, STEAM (Science, Technology, Education, Arts, and Math)-focused activities. Plans and supplies will be provided by the Pavilion's Education office
Where: The Jack's Imagination Lab inside the Kirby Science Discovery Center and/or the Children's Studio inside the Visual Arts Center - the venue is up to you!
When: Times on weekends are flexible. Ideally, we would love for volunteers to join us for a three-hour session at the following times:
- Between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm on Saturdays
- Between 12:00 and 5:00 pm on Sundays
Volunteers can join us on a weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly basis as their schedules allow
Training: Some part-time staff members already lead STEAM-focused museum activities on weekends and would be happy to provide interested volunteers with some guidance ahead of their debuts, if neede
