Volunteers in this role will welcome donors to The Foster Network, ensuring a positive and organized donation experience. This position plays a critical role in acknowledging donors, providing receipts, and tracking donation information for accurate record-keeping.
Responsibilities include:

Greeting individuals dropping off donations with a friendly and welcoming attitude

Thanking donors for their contributions and explaining the impact of their donations

Providing donation receipts upon request

Recording donor names, contact information, and a brief description of donated items

During warm seasons, sitting outside under an awning for sun protection while greeting donors

Communicating with staff regarding donation drop-offs and any special instructions

Each shift is a 2-hour time slot
