Volunteers in this role will help ensure that all donated toys at The Foster Network are safe, complete, and ready for children in foster care. This position focuses on cleaning, organizing, and assessing toys to maintain quality, safety, and readiness for distribution.
Responsibilities include:

Cleaning and sanitizing donated toys

Pre-sorting toys by type, age appropriateness, and condition

Checking toys for missing pieces, damage, or safety hazards

Removing broken or incomplete toys from inventory

Organizing and stocking toys for easy access in the toy area

Identifying overabundant items to “pay forward” or redistribute to other organizations as needed

Communicating with staff regarding toy inventory needs or surpluses

This is a weekly volunteer opportunity

Each shift is a 2-hour time slot

Volunteers may choose their preferred day and time during store hours

Available Monday through Thursday
