Description

Inspire Creativity and Support Artists with Disabilities

The Suzie Cappa Art Center (SCAC) provides a vibrant, supportive environment where artists with disabilities can express themselves creatively and develop their artistic talents. As an SCAC Volunteer, you'll have the rewarding opportunity to be part of this inspiring creative community.

Primary Volunteer Opportunities:

Artist Assistant:
Work directly alongside talented artists as they bring their creative visions to life! You'll provide encouragement, practical assistance, and supportive guidance as artists work on their projects. Whether helping mix paint colors, offering gentle suggestions, or simply providing companionship during the creative process, your presence makes a meaningful difference.

Supply & Donation Organizer:
Help maintain the artistic heartbeat of the center by organizing art supplies and processing donations. Your organizational skills will ensure artists have access to the materials they need when inspiration strikes. This behind-the-scenes role is perfect for detail-oriented volunteers who enjoy creating order and systems.

Why Volunteer at SCAC:

  • Witness the transformative power of art in a supportive community
  • Build relationships with artists and celebrate their creative achievements
  • Share your love of art in a meaningful, impactful way
  • Be part of an inclusive creative space that values all abilities

No professional art experience is required—just bring your enthusiasm, patience, and appreciation for creative expression!
