The Outreach & Engagement Volunteer supports Wings of Valor Lodge by making friendly, professional phone calls to our community of volunteers, donors, and veteran guests. This role is vital to maintaining strong personal connections and ensuring our supporters feel valued, informed, and appreciated. Calls may include check-ins, thank-you messages, reminders, or invitations to events.
Duties: Place scheduled calls to volunteers, donors, and veteran guests using a provided call list and talking points. Help build relationships by listening, answering basic questions, and relaying feedback to staff. Communicate upcoming opportunities, events, or updates in a warm and professional tone. Log call notes and responses into a shared system for team follow-up. Represent Wings of Valor Lodge’s mission with integrity, empathy, and respect.
Skills, Experience & Abilities: Excellent verbal communication and listening skills. Compassionate, respectful, and confident phone presence. Comfortable speaking with individuals from military and donor communities. Reliable and able to follow up consistently. Prior customer service or community outreach experience is a plus.
