Refurbish used wheelchairs for charity (less regular volunteers)

Volunteers with Hope Haven International Ministries refurbish used wheelchairs for distribution to people in need in developing countries.  The work may include cleaning, simple mechanical work (if you can unscrew a bolt, you can do the work), greasing bearings, or optionally more complicated mechanical work, depending on the state of the wheelchairs on hand.  Preferred work times are Tuesday and Thursday mornings, but other days or times are possible.  Please call or email ahead of time, because I’ll need time to organize the work.  This particular listing is for volunteers who don’t plan to return weekly.  See a separate listing for a regular-returnee opportunity.
