Our family gatherings provide a unique volunteer opportunity for individuals who have a heart for children in foster care and/or children who have been adopted. Each month adoptive, foster and kinship families gather for a meal, building community, caregiver training and kids club. Our buddies are a vital piece of this evening to ensure our kids club is successful!
Role of the Buddy:
- Serve an age group (infants - teens) at our monthly family gatherings
- Attend a 15 minute training at the beginning of each gathering
- Move with their age group through stations, serving as a source of connection and regulation for the children.
- Commitment: 3rd Tuesday evening of the month (August - May), as volunteer is able, every month is not required.
