What it is:
The Family-Friendly Disability Expo aims to bring together individuals, families, caregivers, and professionals to explore the diverse resources and services available locally for individuals with disabilities from birth through adulthood, including: medical, educational, therapeutic, recreational, and post high school resources. The whole Expo is designed with families in mind. There will be no speakers or mandatory activities; families are encouraged to participate at their own pace.
Volunteer Opportunities Include:
Setting up day prior (April 25)
Setting up morning of (7:30-9:30)
General help during event (9:30-2)
Clean up afternoon (2-4)
Breakout/Entertainment (Good for crafty people or those who like to make new friends)
Food distribution
