SDHSAA State Debate Judges

Brookings has the honor of hosting the 2025 State Debate Tournament on March 7-8. As the host school, we need to provide 60 public forum judges. Public Forum is a debate event designed to be judged by lay judges —meaning any adult member of society. Judges do not need to have previous speech and debate experience; they simply need to have good active listening skills and be willing to help young people succeed.
