Class run from 4:00-5:00pm on Tuesdays, and 3:00-4:00pm on Wednesdays.
You should assist the teachers with taking attendance, texting the parents of any 'missing' students, helping with general classroom management, being a good role model, participating in class activities and discussions, taking photos/videos, making photocopies when needed, etc. You may be asked to sit with students who are in need of a little extra help, and you might be key in helping with students who are being distracting or creating trouble. You may need to move throughout the room, listening in on group work to help determine if students are understanding concepts and if teaching strategies are working. You may even lead small groups or teams.
You will each be an invaluable addition to these classrooms! THANK YOU for your involvement!
