Help us keep clean!
Keep Clean Downtown Brookings is a volunteer effort to remove litter in the Downtown Brookings Business District. The Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce by means of it’s Downtown Brookings Business District Committee works with various groups and individuals looking to volunteer during the spring, summer, and fall months (as weather and volunteer participation allows).
Anyone is able to volunteer. All supplies and instructions will be provided at the event - just bring yourself and a friend or two!
Volunteers must confirm their availability by Thursday at noon prior to that coming Monday’s event (if fewer than four volunteers register or the weather is unfavorable, the cleanup will be cancelled for that week; volunteers will be e-mailed and/or called/texted to inform).
Volunteers must sign up (see below) and complete two waivers prior to volunteering. Waivers can be completed by downloading (see below), filling out, and emailing to committee member Kelly Odegaard at kelly@brookingshomes.com. Waivers will also be available on-site - please arrive early to fill out. If under 18, parents must sign waiver and an adult must accompany during cleanup.
