This position helps the Regional Disaster Services team. Every year, the Red Cross responds to around 60,000 emergencies, mostly local, personal disasters like house fires. Disaster Action Teams (DAT) Responders offer emotional support, financial aid, and information to help families start recovering. DAT Responders specifically respond to these local disasters, providing immediate care and support to those affected.
