The Literacy Council of the Black Hills is hosting an upcoming tutor training for community members interested in supporting adult learners. Volunteer tutors help adults improve reading, writing, or English language skills and make a lasting impact through one-to-one learning. No teaching experience is required—just a commitment to learning and encouragement. Training will take place Saturday, January 10 and Sunday, January 11, 2026 (two sessions), on the SD School of Mines campus in Classroom Building 109. Join us and help open doors through literacy.
