Lifeways

Established in 2003, Lifeways is a South Dakota 501(c)3 non-profit. We are the only program in Rapid City that have youth addiction and prevention counselors with offices directly in the schools. We partner with the State, Schools and City to PIC students over addiction through Prevention, Intervention and Connection.

Lifeways is a South Dakota State accredited adolescent substance use prevention, intervention and outpatient treatment agency.  We implement evidence-based prevention programming in the Rapid City Area Schools, and early intervention programming, outpatient treatment, individual counseling and recovery groups afterschool at our main office for adolescents and their parents. We also offer brief screenings and alcohol and drug assessments.
