Pactola Visitor Center

Who We Are

The Pactola Visitor Center serves as an educational and interpretive hub for the Black Hills National Forest.  It is open during the summer and early fall seasons and is often used by local school groups and youth organizations for a variety of field trips.

-Exhibits and displays highlighting natural and cultural resources of western South Dakota

-Seasonal programs and special events at the visitor center, observation decks, and other Forest sites
