Project Food Forest

Our goal is to encourage, empower, and equip people to plant and care for edible plants all over.  We intend to do this by planting public food forests, designing low-maintenance edible landscapes for clients, and educating through classes.

Public food forests can range in size from a single fruit tree guild to large food forests that can even provide enough yields to donate substantial supplies. Ultimately, the size of food forests depend on the land that is made available to be utilized. In addition to Project Food Forest’s work partnering with other public and private projects, we operate a demonstration site in Luverne, MN called Prairie Ally.
