My Fishing Pond, Inc.
http://www.myfishingpond.comOur mission is to provide a recreational therapy fishing pond for people with brain injuries and children with special needs. My Fishing Pond, Inc. makes it easy for everyone to have fun. Working with volunteers, our guests have a chance to catch and release nice bass and take perch home to eat. Fishing includes managing resources, working with others, communication, problem-solving and decision-making, relating to others, and acquiring, analyzing and using information. Fishing begins in June and ends in September. Most events are held on Saturdays. Volunteers provide one-on-one support to our guests.
