Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership is a community based non-profit organization which serves primarily low-income families and senior citizens in a 14-county area of East Central South Dakota. We administer a variety of programs supported through grants, donations, and other community resources to assist participants and their communities to achieve full potential. Inter-Lakes Community Action Partnership (ICAP) provides many services including: Children & Family Services (Early Head Start; Head Start; Child Development Centers; Case Management); Volunteer Service Network; School Supplies; Information & Referral; Protective Payee Services; Thrift Stores; Gardens Emergency Services (Food, Shelter and utilities; Food Pantries; Clothing Exchanges; Homeless Programs); Disaster Assistance Economic; Revolving Loan Fund; Energy Conservation Services (Weatherization; Furnace Program;) Senior Services (60's Plus Dining Program; Aging Alliance Transportation; Public Transportation Systems with Deuel County Transit Miner County Transit, Moody County Transit); Housing (Housing Education & Counseling; Housing Rehabilitation; Transitional Housing; Heartland House; Self-Help Housing; Eviction Prevention; Tenant Education & Self Sufficiency).
