Join the Summit League Food Fight to End Hunger!
Help Feeding South Dakota and the Summit League end hunger with a food fight!
Volunteers are needed during the weekend of the annual Summit League college basketball tournament March 7-8, 2020, to celebrate the culmination of the Summit League Food Fight. This friendly competition takes place each year with each of the participating schools in the Summit League and focuses on supporting their local organizations in the fight against hunger and food insecurity through the donation of cash and non-perishable food items. At the tournament, fans of each school are asked to participate by donating non-perishable food items and cash to Feeding South Dakota.
Volunteers will help at the Feeding South Dakota table in the Denny Sanford PREMIER Center by helping collect food and funds, sell raffle tickets and run a cornhole game for Summit League fans.
As a thank-you, volunteers will receive food, beverages and all-session passes to that day's Summit League games. T-shirts will be provided.
