TeamMates Mentor
TeamMates Mentoring is an in-school, strengths based mentoring program for youth in grades 3-12 that focuses on creating lasting friendships between students and safe, caring adults. TeamMates was founded 31 years ago, by Dr. Tom and Nancy Osborne. Matches meet once a week for 30-45 minutes during the academic school year to play games, do crafts, or just talk. Whenever possible, mentors make a commitment to stay matched with their young person and remain a caring, consistent presence in their lives until they graduate high school. Upon graduation, vested mentees are eligible for scholarships to help with post-secondary education.
