Guest Experience Volunteer
Volunteers transport guests to the tropical rainforest environment and ocean adventure. Volunteers provide educational information about butterflies, plants, and aquatic life. Volunteers ensure no butterflies leave with the guests. Volunteers are responsible for maintaining the health and safety of the exhibit space for animals, guests, and staff, and they are the primary person for answering questions. Volunteers ensure no butterflies leave with guests (complying with USDA regulations), and they monitor all open exhibit areas such as the touch pools in the aquarium.

Volunteers must be at least 16 years old to volunteer in the Butterfly House & Aquarium. Those under 18 years of age must have a parent complete and sign a consent form prior to their first assignment. Background checks are required for this volunteer position.
