Edible Playdoh Kits for Kids
LifeScape's Mission: We empower children and adults with disabilities to lead fulfilling lives.
Looking to make a difference, while volunteering at your own home, on your own time?
LifeScape is asking for volunteer groups to purchase ingredients and create edible playdoh kits for fun leisure activities for chldren with disabilities. Please don't mix and assemble. The children at LifeScape will use these kits as learning opportunities to read a recipe, mix the ingredients, knead the playdoh, and then create/play! Many learning opportunities for this kit.
Additional Vol Activity: If interested, make extra kits for you. Then schedule a time/date to come to LifeScape and spend an hour assembling the playdoh and then playing together with us! Schedule a time for your family and/or your volunteer group to play playdoh by expressing interest. We'd love to set up a time to create playdoh and make unique playdoh art!
You can purchase all the ingredients and donate as a whole, (as is purchased from store)
Or, You can create individual servings baggies of each ingredient, then put each individual serving baggie into one larger ziplock bag for one child to create and use.

Ingredient Listing for One 'Playdoh' cup/color for One Person.
LifeScape is asking for supplies for 12-25 kits.
- ½ cup white rice flour
- ½ cup cornstarch
- ½ cup salt
- 2 teaspoons cream of tartar
- 1 cup water
- 1 teaspoon cooking oil
- 2 (0.13 ounce packages unsweetened, fruit-flavored soft drink mix (such as KOOL-AID) (any color - need 2 packages)
- Sandwich size ziplock baggies per kit
