Host Families
Youth Camp to be held in Sioux Falls
Students, host families, and volunteers are all needed to make this year's camp a great success!
Students: South Dakota youth ages 16-20 are invited to apply to attend the camp. Cost is $400 and includes all lodging, food, and activities. To apply, email liz@sdlions.org or call 605-338-0551.
Host Families: 20-25 youth from around the world will be attending this camp. The students will typically arrive one week before camp begins and stay for one week after camp is over. During these weeks, host families will provide a place for the student to stay, meals, and an opportunity to learn about day to day American culture. Students will have their own spending money and health insurance. Families can specify if they prefer a male or female student, and may host more than one. Volunteers: The youth camp will be held at Augustana college in Sioux Falls. Volunteers will be needed to chaperone all activities, help with meals, drive students, and assist with planning. Volunteers can help one hour or all week!
