1:1 Computer Classes

Caminando Juntos, a Hispanic Ministry Center in Sioux Falls, is seeking patient and compassionate individuals willing to tutor adult learners on basic computer skills, programs, and functions.  Tutors may also help teach basic Office programs, such as Microsoft Word and Power Point, or teach individuals how to use email and other online websites.  Volunteers would set their own schedules and arrange tutoring times and locations with his/her assigned student.  They will also receive ongoing training and support, as well as a curriculum to follow to make their job easy and rewarding. Tutors should be open to working with diverse cultures and have strong computer skills; teaching experience is not required.  Knowledge of Spanish is helpful.  1:1 computer classes will begin June to August of 2019, with plans to continue in the fall.
