Help Feeding South Dakota with the state's largest food drive!
Help Feeding South Dakota and the US Postal Service meet our goal of collecting more than 80,000 pounds of food for people who are food-insecure in South Dakota!
Postal workers will be picking up bags of food on Saturday, May 11 in residential areas and will utilize four Sioux Falls Hy-Vee stores as drop-off locations for the food. Volunteers will be asked to stay with our Feeding South Dakota trucks at Hy-Vees and assist the postal workers with unloading the food from their mail trucks. Shifts will be from 10 am to noon and noon to 2 pm.
Please wear weather-appropriate clothing and sunscreen. You may also bring a lawn chair as there will be some time spent waiting for the mail carriers.
