Adopt-A-Lawn
Adopt-A-Lawn Program/Agency: Workers on Wheels, Active Generations Date: Flexible Time: Flexible Workers on Wheels Workers on Wheels serves individuals over the age of 60 who do not have family available in Sioux Falls to help with their lawn care and are not financially or physically able to do the work themselves. WOW is currently seeking volunteers to adopt-a-lawn of a client. This is a great volunteer opportunity for an individual, family, or group. Volunteers “adopt” a client’s yard by agreeing to mow once a week or as needed. Volunteers are asked to keep lawns manageable and safe so the lawn itself will determine the frequency of mowing.
