Volunteer: Special Event Committee | Corks & KegsWhat is Corks & Kegs? Join us for the legendary Corks & Kegs – (new theme every year)! This iconic evening includes tastings of wine, brews, cocktails, mocktails, and epic eats along with auctions and games —all to support fighters living with cystic fibrosis. Every Corks & Kegs includes a moment that hits the heartstrings where someone touched by cystic fibrosis takes the mic to share their powerful journey which reminds us why we unite annually—for hope, for progress, and for every CF fighter out there. The special events committee collaborates to plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of the event—from pre-event preparations to day-of activities. Through strategic efforts and teamwork, the committee aims to deliver an exceptional experience while meeting or exceeding event revenue goals. Overall, the time commitment can range from about 1 hours per month during the early planning stages, increasing to around 8 hours per month as the event approaches, and peaking at around 2 hours during the week of the event itself. The committee will meet at least once a month (mostly virtually), and potentially more frequently leading up to the event. 2026 Corks & Kegs is Saturday, September 26 in Sioux Falls.
