The Event Operations Team helps support the setup and daily operation of festival activities during the Real America Birthday Bash in downtown Rapid City. Volunteers will assist with preparing event spaces, supporting vendors and activity areas, and helping event staff throughout the festival.
Volunteers will report to Main Street Square Board Room, suite 240, 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the shift to receive assignments and learn which station they will help cover.
This role includes physical setup work, moving supplies, assisting with booths and signage, and helping stage areas transition between performances or activities. Volunteers may also help keep public areas organized and assist with general operational needs as they arise.
Volunteers should be comfortable walking, standing for extended periods, and working outdoors in a busy event environment. No special experience is required.
Volunteer duties may include:
• Set up tents, tables, and signage
• Assist vendors and booth operators
• Support stage setup and transitions
• Help maintain organized activity areas
