Volunteers will support The Foster Network by stocking and organizing the New Room, which provides brand-new shoes, pajamas, socks, and underwear for children entering foster care. This role ensures items are easily accessible, accurately sorted, and ready to meet immediate placement needs.
Responsibilities include:

Stocking and organizing new shoes, pajamas, socks, and underwear in the New Room

Retrieving inventory from the outdoor shed and transporting items inside for stocking

Lifting and placing storage totes (up to 25 lbs) onto shelving units, including overhead shelves

Sorting and organizing items with close attention to sizing, style, and gender

Maintaining a clean, orderly, and well-labeled space
Physical & Safety Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, including lifting above shoulder/head height

Ability to safely carry items from an outdoor storage area into the building
Schedule & Commitment:

This is a weekly volunteer opportunity

Each shift is a 2-hour time slot

Volunteers may choose their preferred day and time during store hours

Available Monday through Thursday
